Our Story
Making a Difference in the Community
Bear PAWS began in 2022 when members and staff at Westminster Presbyterian Church noticed Austin Middle School students loitering in the park while waiting for transportation. The leadership felt that this was a great opportunity. Enrollment and attendance have consistently increased.
Our Impact
Bear PAWS has made a significant impact on the lives of many young students by providing them with educational support and a safe environment to learn and grow.
Free for All Participants
Our after-school program offers a wide range of activities and academic support to help students excel in their studies and personal development.
Guidance and Support
Our mentorship program pairs students with caring and dedicated mentors who provide guidance, support, and encouragement throughout their educational journey.
Engaging and Fun
We organize various community events to foster a sense of belonging and provide students with opportunities for social interaction and personal enrichment.
